About HeartBound

HeartBound is dedicated to the idea that children's art is special, and should be celebrated for its beauty, joy and natural charm. By nature, children are keenly interested in art and, when encouraged to express themselves artistically, will produce amazing, often stunning works of art.

I created HeartBound in 2005. I found that I shared a problem with many other parents: what to do with the many works of art their children were bringing home from school every year. I loved my children's art and was reluctant to throw it away or keep it in a drawer, but knew it would deterioriate in time. I needed a way to preserve the art and enjoy it. Creating HeartBound offered a solution. The artbooks provide a stylish, elegant system of archiving the art for a lifetime while enjoying it everyday as art

The HeartBound process

To make a HeartBound book, or any HeartBound product, your child's art is first photographed and then digitally processed in preparation for printing and binding. When printed, the images are sent to an expert bookbinder who carefully creates the hardbound, linen-covered artbooks.
