I started writing in the web and software industry in 1997. For the last five years I worked as time allowed while I raised my daughter full-time. I'm interested in freelance content development and copy writing of all sorts - especially web and interactive.

		{Relevent Full Time Experience} Organic, Inc San Francisco, CA 4/99 to 9/01 Manager, Editorial Organic, Inc. is a web/interactive development company in San Francisco. I started as a Sr. Writer and a year later became the manager of the Editorial Department. While at Organic I: Set editorial standards both in-house and for large- scale client web sites in the form of style guides, editorial platforms, and nomenclature constructs. Managed editorial production of large-scale web sites including creating editorial calendars, negotiating internal and external editorial reviews, working with engineers on editorial production process. Lead a creative project team consisting of an information architect, a graphic designer, and a writer on one of the company¹s strongest accounts. Wrote and edited all types of web copy including marketing copy, ad banners, help copy, navigational copy, and copy for motion graphics. Managed a team of writers including their project work and professional goals hired permanent and contract writers.
